Special Thanks to UNESCO and UNESCO National Commission

The Secretary General of the National Information Communications Technology Development Authority (NiDA) presents his compliment to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the UNESCO National Commission for their generosities in making it possible for NiDA to implement the Royal Government of Cambodia IT Education for All Project (RGC-ITEFAP)

The ultimate goal of this project is to create awareness in IT education for all at the general public level through a National Workshop and to practically train at least 180 government officials with the potential of replicating/providing training to others in basic IT skills.

NiDA started the training on June 23rd, 2003 as outlined in the proposal and was attended/witnessed by two of UNESCO staffs. This training is on going. NiDA would like to invite interested parties to attended or visit the training to see how the program works and how they can get involve in this noble cause.

On behalf of students, those who will be benefiting from this program and on behalf of Cambodians as a whole may I convey my sincere thanks and gratitude to UNESCO and the National Commission for their generosities in making this program possible - for giving Cambodians the opportunity to survive in this digital era.

Please accept Madam, Your Excellency, the assurance of my highest consideration for your continuous support and I am looking forward to working closely with you on this and any other future projects.

Leewood Phu
Secretary General
