Tuesday December 2nd, 2003

Mr. Lor Sok Se, the Regional Cisco Networking Academy Instructor reported to the NiDA Secretary General on the shrinkage of the Cambodian territory shown in one of the website claimed to be the official site of the 22nd SEA Game (www.seagames22.net)

at 1:41pm
After verifying the information was incorrectly shown at the site, an ultimatum was issued to the webmaster in hope that the mistake will be corrected within 24 hours, a reasonable amount of time for the Internet generation.

Wednesday December 3rd, 2003

at 3:00pm
An internal meeting with NiDA technical staffs, webmasters, firewall specialists, software engineers were conducted inside the office of the NiDA Secretary General to decide on a solid action plan to defend the Cambodian constitution from the technical perspective at all costs.

at approximately 4:30pm
The website was reportedly malfunctioned.

Thursday December 4th, 2003

The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Vietnam reported to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation about the official websites of the 22nd SEA Game. The unofficial site www.seagames22.net was reportedly out of service. Detail

Monday December 8th, 2003

A formal letter from the Senior Minister, Minister in charge of the Offices of the Council of Ministers instructing the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to take immediate action on this matter. Detail

The NiDA Secretary General presents his formal complaint to Hostsave, the host server for the site. Detail

Tuesday December 9th, 2003

Vietnam News Agency (VNA) www.vnagency.com.vn clarified this problem based on the press release of the Main Press Center of the 22^nd SEA Game. The website is out for good.
